Veljekset ("Brothers") Print by Marimekko

Started in 1951, Marimekko is a design house based in Finland that is world-renowned for its bold and original prints and colours.

Designer Maija Louekari created this print to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finland´s independence. It's called Veljekset (or "brothers"), and Marimekko debuted the print at the Lux Helsinki light festival. Lux Helsinki light festival. Per Marimekko's Instagram post, the print was "inspired by Finnish folk tales and animals living in the vast forests of Finland."
