Canadian company ModPools has taken a shipping container and turned it into an awesome swimming pool, complete with the big, fun window. The standard size is 8’x20’ for $26,900, and ModPools also makes a 40-ft model. According to the founder, Paul Rathnam, the prep work before the crane delivers your shipping container ... er ... pool ... is much lighter-weight than most backyard pool installations. There is some area /ground preparation required, as well as the need to create power and gas access, but after that it is "plug and play."
According to Curbed (see last link below), "Modpools can be installed above ground, partially in the ground behind retaining walls, or completely in-ground, making it a versatile option for many landscapes."
