The Charter Oak in St Helena, CA (Napa Valley) is family-style restaurant with a fully-functional hearth at the center. The team is led by co-owners Chef Christopher Kostow (three Michelin star chef and award-winning author) and Nathaniel Dorn (James Beard Award winner), as well as Chef Katianna Hong. They focus on serving seasonal food, including grilled meats, vegetables from their farm, local wines and unique cocktails. According to The Charter Oak, the "menu reflects the products of the Napa Valley through an elemental cooking style, with a hearth at its center, and by highlighting one or two ingredients at a time."
We *think* this is hearth-roasted cabbage with pork.
