San Francisco-based Rothy's is taking shoes to a whole new level. First off, these kicks are made from recycled plastic bottles, which are "hot washed, sterilized, then fused into fiber that is knit into yarn." The shoes are 3D knit and hand-assembled. Further, you can wash them at home (!) and let them air dry, which Rothy's says happens quickly. I like the creative patterns with rounded toes as well as solids in pointed toes.
This are their Indigo Mini Stripe shoe, which Rothy's recommends pairing with jeans.
