St George Spirits is based in Alameda, CA (near Oakland, just across the bay from San Francisco). They make great gins, whiskeys, rums and other spirits. This amazing haul of organic Bartlett pears as a key ingredient in St George's Pear Brandy caught our attention. The team packs "about 30 pounds of fruit into every 750ml bottle!"
The pear brandy is the main spirit in the Queen's Cooler cocktail. The simple recipe is as follows:
Pour pear brandy and orgeat into a highball glass filled with ice and stir. Top with soda water.
