Nopa in San Francisco is a popular restaurant that relies on local farmers and purveyors for seasonal, fresh produce, fish and meat. One of those farms is Zuckerman's in Stockton, CA, run by Roscoe Zuckerman.
These two dishes are from last Spring (March 2018), and they are #1 (in the front): McFarland Springs Smoked Trout with shaved asparagus, jalapeños, and pepitas and #2 (in the back): some fried asparagus wrapped in a generous bundle.
