Kohanaiki is a private club community that sits on the Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Executive Chef, Patrick Heymann, trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and runs Kohanaiki's entire culinary operations. This is one of his creations - fresh aki poke. As you can see, staff and members go out daily on Kohanaiki's boats to catch beautiful, delicious, fresh fish, which become the features of most meals. This 121-pound Ahi tuna can make a lot of tasty poke!
