Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade by State Honey Curators

State Honey Curators paired Elijah Craig Bourbon with a blackberry honey syrup (using its La Aurora honey), fresh lemonade, egg white and bitters to create this beautiful and refreshing cocktail. Per their website, "The blackberry pairs well with the spice and vanilla accents in the bourbon; lemon and meadow honey bring out the notes of mint, wood, and nutmeg. Shaken with egg white, the drink is rounded, smooth, and flavor." We think this cocktail would be great on a warm evening, and ideal for Mother's Day.

Oregon-based State Honey Curators pulls together "a collection of environmentally conscious, terroir influenced, magical raw honey." They are committed to working with bee keepers (aka apiculturists - did you know that? We didn't. Learn something knew every day!) who love and care for their bees and their ecosystems.

Ingredients for this cocktail are listed below here, but see the last two links for the full recipe and more gorgeous photos on the State Honey Curators website.
