I was in Paris this week for work, and I needed to grab a bit of lunch to go. I saw a line of young professionals queued out the door of a bakery called Gosselin on Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 7th Arrondissement very close to Musee d'Orsay. I figured it was a good sign of how good the food would be if folks were willing to wait a bit during their workday. I was not disappointed! I ordered a mini quiche and an apricot tart and both were delicious and wrapped in the sweetest pink packaging. People in front of me were having sandwiches on baguettes like these featured here, salads, lasagne and more. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a stop here.
I love this bef-after of their beautiful baguettes, because it shows off the hand-made care that the Gosselin bakers take with everything they create. Is there anything better than French bread? If there is, I haven't found it.
