Indigo Vegan Berry Protein Smoothie

Every day this week I've had a smoothie  for lunch, today was blue-indigo day!  The butterfly pea powder helps make the smoothie look really blue. The berries and greens make the blue even darker, closer to an Indigo shade. I topped the smoothie with a few roasted almonds and included a dollop of Trader Joe's crunchy peanut butter with chia and flax seeds (see 4th link below).


  • Vanilla soymilk
  • Banana
  • Wyman's frozen triple berries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
  • Fresh spinach
  • Fresh kale
  • Blue Butterfly Pea Powder (Suncor -  see 3rd link below)
  • Vanilla Protein Powder (Garden of Life, Sport, seee last link)
